ThokMarkets provides software that lets wholesalers run their own online ordering website. This policy covers visitors to this website and the wholesalers who sign up. If you are a customer ordering from a wholesaler's site, that wholesaler decides how your details are used (see the privacy policy on their site); ThokMarkets handles them on the wholesaler's behalf.
From wholesalers: your name and shop name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, address, GST number, the payment details you choose to show customers, your products and orders, and your login (your password is stored only in scrambled form by our login provider). From anyone who contacts us: whatever you send by WhatsApp or email. Automatically: standard technical logs such as IP address, and short-lived records used to limit misuse of PIN-reset codes.
To provide and support the service, handle subscriptions and billing, keep the platform secure, and contact you about your account. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Only service providers that help us run the platform: website hosting, database, login and file storage, email delivery, and WhatsApp/SMS messaging where a wholesaler has enabled it. They may process data only to provide those services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
We use login cookies to keep you signed in and store a shopping cart on the customer's own device. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
We use measures such as encrypted connections, hashed PINs and passwords, and separate access for each shop. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please keep your login details private.
We keep an account's data while it is active and as needed for records and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account data.
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to hello@thokmarkets.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
